Köttbullar

Köttbullar. Possibly every foodie in the world knows about Swedish Meatballs (IKEA made sure of that one). Köttbullar, in Swedish, served as a main dish along with gravy, boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam & fresh pickled cucumber or an as a part of the smörgåsbord is something you should taste if you visit Stockholm. Usually prepared by a mix of beef, pork & sometimes veal meat, breadcrumbs soaked in milk & finely chopped onions. This is Sweden’s most renowned delicacy. There must be a reason.
