Museo del Baile Flamenco

The Museo del Baile Flamenco is a perfect way to immerse yourself in the most beloved cultural phenomenon in Andalusia. If you’ve ever visited Seville you know how important the culture of the Flamenco dance and music is to Andalusians. The connection is so profound that there is no way of bringing Sevilla into your mind and not thinking of Flamenco. Countless tables and groups of Jovenes are dancing to its rhythms every night. A stroll along the Guadalquivir after sunset can be a true joy since the River banks are the main meeting place of various groups of friends, playing Flamenco guitars, singing Flamenco songs, and dancing.

The most original flamenco souvenirs await us in the museum store. The interactive part is the soul of the museum. Through the screens on display, we can understand flamenco’s origins and evolution, discover the influence of other cultures, and the richness of its styles and objects from different eras that speak to us of artists and their history in the last two centuries.

The museum’s second floor is its art area: temporary and interactive exhibitions showcase flamenco’s influence on artistic disciplines such as painting, drawings, and sculptures by national and international artists from France, the USA, Germany, Poland, Israel, South Korea, and China among others. The basement is a unique space of the museum, a historic vault with Roman and pre-Roman stones. In this centuries-old ambiance, the visitors are immersed in the most direct flamenco, the best VIP show in Seville. It is also a great place for other events, exhibitions, dance classes, etc.
