Herr Nilsen Jazz Club (Jazz Joint)

Herr Nilsen is a small club. They have a maximum capacity of 150, 65 can be seated, rest is standing, so seating is not guaranteed, even with a ticket bought in advance. The best way to procure a seat, is to go early. Usually the band will play 2 sets, with a short break between, but sometimes it is one long set. The bar remains open during the concert, but the audience should of course be considerate when approaching the bar, especially during acoustic concerts. Tickets for concerts at Herr Nilsen can be bought at www.ticketco.no, or in the bar at daytime. Concerts arranged by Oslo Jazz Forum, usually at 1600 on Saturdays, have no pre-sales, just door-sales, starting one hour before the concert.
