Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean

Right behind Fort Thüngen, we find the MUDAM Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean. This jewel of modern architecture was ingeniously designed by the famous Chinese American architect leoh Ming Pei famous for his Louvre Pyramid, in a manner that the daylight reaches almost every corner of the building. The asymmetrical V shape of the building rises over the ruins in an introverted shape that is so to speak, a geometrical extension of the fortress.
