Explore the Parque das Nações

Explore the Parque das Nações and enjoy Europe’s largest Aquarium. The Parque das Nações (Park of Nations) is the newest district in Lisbon & an absolute contrast to the city’s historic neighborhoods. Most of it was built by innovative architects for Expo ’98 & also includes the twin sailboat-shaped towers, a shopping center, a marina, a casino, water gardens, a number of bars & restaurants overlooking the longest bridge in Europe (Vasco da Gama) & one of the city’s most popular attraction which is the Oceanário de Lisboa.

This is not only Portugal’s but also Europe’s largest indoor aquarium. Exhibits include species & habitats of the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Alaskan Sea, Tropical Indian & the Pacific. The main highlight is the central & largest tank named Global Ocean which allows fish from different habitats to co-exist. Surely worth a visit. More
