Oskar Schindler’s Factory

It is not a figure of speech if one describes Oskar Schindler’s Factory as a truly unique museum.  The historic figure of Oskar Schindler became famous after Steven Spielberg’s Oscar winning film Schindler’s list filmed almost entirely in Krakow. His former administrative building at 4 Lipowa Street, is today a world-famous museum dedicated to the 5 years of Nazi occupation.

Along with the detailed story of Oskar Schindler & his employees that star in the movie on what is the original site of events, the museum also covers the events of World War II, the details of everyday life under the occupation, individual stories of the Krakowians & of the Jewish population of Krakow.
