Habitat (3 Star Hotel)
Habitat is a modern and welcoming Boutique Hotel in Catania historic centre, just a footstep from Bellini Theatre. Previously it was a late-nineteenth century factory where oily fish was processed and farmed; it is located next to the Medieval city walls and the old San Giuliano Bastion, recognizable by the typical steep structure. Earlier a Bed & Breakfast, today it has become a hotel whose facilities consist of parking, reception from 07:00 am to 02:00 am, relax lounge and concierge service to book cultural visits and excursions on Mt. Etna and around Catania.
Habitat is the result of a hospitality project by two architects, Marianna and Antonio, who conceived hospitality as a metaphor of a place where people may identify and feel at home. Habitat presents itself as a space where guests find harmony and rediscover a sense of belonging to a world where they may automatically feel relieved, though they are far from their cultures.
The aim of this project is the unceasing search for a perfect synthesis of perfumes, colours and memories of the past, and above all the wish of telling Sicily and its tradition. A working area, which is also warm and welcoming to hold professional and casual meetings in the typical tranquillity of Habitat Boutique Hotel.
