Hoppel Poppel. What do you do in Berlin when you have leftover food? Yeap. This is it. It’s not just that though. It did start as a smart way to use leftover food but nowadays it’s a delicious and traditional dish made mostly of potatoes, onions, salami, bacon or other cold cuts, fresh parsley, pickles, eggs, mushrooms, melty cheese, and some hearty rye bread.
