Moco Museum of Modern Art

Right after the Diamond Museum lies the Moco Museum of Modern Art, another small private museum located in Villa Alsberg, a beautiful traditional mansion designed by Eduard Cuypers in 1904. Eduard Cuypers is the nephew of Pierre Cuypers, who is responsible for the Rijksmuseum.

Despite its small size the museum contains a wide range of modern, inspiring and contemporary art of provocative artists like Warhol, Banksy and Roy Lichtenstein who is one of the greatest contemporary art interpreters and a master of Pop Art.

With over 90 different original works by Banksy, the Moco Museum offers enormous potential to become one of the largest Banksy exhibitions in the world. Most people are familiar with Banksy mainly as an outdoor graffiti artist, so this can be a pleasant revelation for them.  Description / More
